I’ve attached a picture of the kids with Hulman in the backyard. He is wonderful! We have completed our puppy shots and are ready to start socializing with other dogs. We took him to the horse barn to acclimate him around horses. I don’t know if I mentioned it, but my daughter has a paint. Anyway, thanks again for bringing so much joy into our lives!
Sincerely,
Peggy Smith

It has been almost a year since we adopted Paddington (aka Tacy) from you and your family. He is such a joy! Bill and I wanted to thank you for such a beautiful and wonderful companion. He gets along very well with our Shiba Inu, Pirate and is very popular with the other dogs at the park. He is afraid of storms and the sound of flip-flops and hides from loud noises, but he is curious and always friendly with new people and animals that he meets. There is a dog beach in Annapolis, Maryland that we took the boys to-- who knew Bernese could swim! Paddy was a natural. He loves water and snow and muddy puddles. His favorite toys are his frog, gorilla and a large squeeky pacifier that my mom gave him when he was a puppy. He is healthy and happy!
If you ever need a reference please give potential adoptees our names and information to contact Bill or me. Truly, Paddington is a wonderful boy and we look forward to him being a part of our family for years to come. Thank you!

Hi Laurie,
I thought I'd let you know how Brock is doing in his new home. He is
getting more confident every day. At first he was quite timid and
wouldn't leave my side but he is getting much braver and will go to
other people and dogs. He gets along very well with our other dogs
Duke, a border collie, and especially Max, a husky mix. They are both
elderly (each 14 years old!) but quite healthy and happy. He would like to get closer to our 3 cats but they aren't quite ready for him just
yet. Then there is Beanie the cockatoo. Brock and Beanie get along finealthough Beanie isn't the easiest going bird (unlike most cockatoos which are quite friendly).
It did take Brock a little while to warm up to Creag, but now hangs
with him too. He is perfectly happy to be outside in the snow for a
while with our other "boys". We have about 8 acres of wooded land which borders hundreds of acres of private and state forrest. He loves
walking, whether along the road on a leash or through the woods and he likes to go in the creek (brrrr). I'm sure he will love it there on hot
summer days. He seems to be very easy to train. I want to go through
obedience training but has already mastered sit, down, off and is very
close to getting the idea of heal.
I'll send photos when I get some good ones. We love him! He is so
sweet, smart and handsome.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Martin and Craeg Saeger
Hi Laurie
Only three weeks ago since we met in Rochester to pick up Haven. Her new name is Eshta (= awesome). She is doing great; we can watch her growing – it goes so fast. She loves doing everything, as long as she can be together with us. Wherever I go with her, she is the superstar, everybody wants to pet her and she enjoys it. We have a few trails in the woods right beside our street, so we walk her every day in the woods, where she meets other dogs, deers, rabbits, whatever. Hope, you are doing great and we wish you a lovely Sunday

Hi Laurie! Just have to tell you how much we're enjoying having Gus in our life! He is such a smart boy & is coming along greatly in his training. He's growing so fast & can't get enough of him!Sending pictures that are attached. Hope all is well on your end & good luck with the new construction!
just a quick update: Seth's new name is Bentley and he is doing great! He has only had two accidents in the house and he can sit and shake already! He is getting along great with my 15 month old son; he follows him around the house and licks him to death. It took him a few days to get used to living inside but seems to be adjusting well. He's still a little leary of new comers that drop by to see him but it didn't take him long to warm up to his new family. I have a bunch of pictures that I will send to you as soon as I download them to my computer.
Thanks,
Nathan Deiters
